September!

We are having a great school year so far! Here is what we will be studying in September!

Reading and Writing-

5th grade readers are working on fluency and comprehension along with grammar concepts. We are practicing answering in complete sentences and using capital letters in the correct places.

4th grade  readers will be focusing on letters D, E, F, G and also working on onset and final sounds in     a  word.

Math-this month we are focusing on shapes, angles, fractions and perimeter.

Science and Social Studies-this month we are learning about American symbols, our American rights, Patriot Day, and Leaders. This group has a lot of interest in learning about the US map and where different places we study are located.

Have a great September!

Welcome Back! First Week of School

I’m excited to see our returning students and new students! It’s great to have our school family back together again!

This year I am going to streamline  announcements through Parent Square since that is used by the rest of the campus.

You can also reach me through Seesaw. This is the place we can send messages and also you can see your student’s daily work and some fun class pics. It’s a great way to see what we’re doing every day! Be sure to sign up at www. https://app.seesaw.me/
