You should be receiving notes home about your child’s homeroom party, they will be on Friday the 19th.  Both days are early release.

With all the excitement, we are still working hard! Our focus this week in math is coin values. In science we are working on Arctic animals and in social studies we are talking about budgets and uses for money. We have made ornaments for the Christmas tree downstairs and we are outraged at Charlie the Elf’s antics. I wonder what he will do tommorrow….

We have almost made it to Christmas!

I can’t believe that my year with your sweet kiddos is half-way over. We have been having so much fun in Lifeskills and learning a lot! I apologize for not being more consistent with the blog-this is my first year at White Oak and I am learning a lot too! Hopefully all of you are following your student’s homeroom teacher’s blog as well. There is often information on special events such as parties that we make sure the kids are included in.
